It does look darker under artificial lighting but the standard colour looked dark when parked indoors at stoneleigh as well. The finish is darker than the original, but still looks typhoon.
Apparently the front bumper has been lacquered with a sort of stonechip protection

At some point, I have to bite the bullet and get the Spectre resprayed, which I know is going to cost a fortune but I've committed myself to returning it to showroom condition at some point. I'm interested in where you got the paint and the problems you had finding it. Maybe I need to start stockpiling the paint now? I had the Primrose Yellow one resprayed in 2015 but I won't get those rates again! James

I got the paint from specialist paints in the end. Not sure if you'll have similar issues sourcing spectre, specialist paints to offer that colour. As Brian said these paints don't have a very long shelf life, although I have heard of a few cases where paint was kept on the shelf for years and then used and it was still ok.
