I did find one very useful bit of advice, namely that the 190 variant uses different adaptors on the front locking tools. That was exactly the sort of information I was after. I should have made a note of the member who posted this information, but I didn't and trying to find the thread again has proved hopeless.
I have a set of the adaptors on their way from AST and would just like to thank whoever made the post.

If your set includes the 2.0 V6 front tools, reversing the pins will give you a 190 tool as near as damn it
