I have some timber in the rafters of the garage & a blunt saw so didn't fancy putting my dodgy back & neck out struggling sawing that stuff. (still haven't got around to replacing my circular saw that got ruined by rain water yet. 
Luckily when I got the Rover out of the garage I spied some UVPC fascia board I'd forgotten about & there was just enough to make a 3'x2'x1' deep planter 
Much easier to cut through that even with a blunt saw I even had some green aerosol paint for plastic too.
