Cool Loss of power

Please help!
Cdti MGZT saloon auto

Recently I had the crankshaft pulley replaced on my diesel ZT. All seemed fine but after a few miles I thought I'd blow the cobwebs out as I noticed a little smoke on the way to have the work done. No power after about 2000 revs, a large amount of grey smoke and just managed to get home. Cleaned the injectors and EGR (very mucky). Could it be something to do with the pulley?? Maybe Maf sensor or EGR faulty?? Maybe fyel oump can't cope under pressure?? I'm no mechanic so no idea!!
