Have a look at the actual pick-up magnetic ring on the bearing as it's common to find rust flakes there from the brake plates. Sometimes, if you're lucky, it could just be a case of cleaning/removing any debris on the ring, otherwise change the bearing.
Got an idea there is a minimum distance/speed before the ABS settles down and the light goes out but a short drive 100m up the road and back should be enough.
