There are quite a few ECUs on the car - sounds like you had the ECM replaced, so probably a coincidence that you now have an ABS fault.
From what you describe one of the sensors isn't picking up all the magnetic reluctor segments. Commonly happens on one of the rear wheels when the backplate rusts and damages the reluctor.
