I am now coming to the end of my 5th week of volunteering at the local technical college. I am going in three days a week and loving it - it's like going in to work on a hobby every other day.

I am supporting the professional lecturers in classes on Engineering Principles for BTEC Engineering Diploma and A-Level courses . Have also started to run lunchtime sessions for any students needing extra help.

I would recommend volunteering to anyone with a skill to offer - most people have. It is so rewarding.
