Made a difference, changes bit smoother after fluid change.
Oil has Jatco and MG/Rover part number on label

However, I ordered it from the Smith & Allen web site rather than eBay as I researched them a bit, and I think it actually worked out a bit cheaper...

Fast delivery from them, and I noticed an improvement in gear changes straight away.

My 75 had done 61000 when I changed earlier this year, and I did the "disconnect oil cooler to flush more oil out" method like you Paul, as described in another excellent thread on here by Beinet1 (spelling?)

So much good information from this Forum .... much of it from Steve (Arctic) as well!

Good with the fluid change, Steve. Easy job for you!

Hi Paul & John.
I managed to get a refund on one of the oils, the other one is here and should have been collected yesterday at 14.00pm but no one turned up, so I am dropping it of at local store of theirs tomorrow.

I ordered the ATF 402 oil Paul linked to on Saturday night about 11.45pm, it got delivered yesterday morning 10.05am when I got back home checked the box and all was ok, so gearbox oil change for me sometime this weekend or start of the next week, thank you lads for the heads up.
