I'm not sure about that!, The Euro Cat 7 emission standards will all but kill off new diesel vehicles in 2025 with emission standard limit of 50g/Km, To put that into perspective the Rover 75 2.5V6 has emissions of 268g/Km. Most car manufacturers have committed to transitioning over to Electric well before the 2030 ICE ban otherwise they will be left with huge stranded assets.
This upcoming 'Fit for 55' doesn't make for good reading & before anyone says that's the EU nowt to do with us, the UK is intertwined with EU standards besides our government has gone a step further & committed to a more stringent emission standard than that of the EU by signing into law a 68% reduction in emissions before 2030
