Cool Rover 75 CDTi 160bhp Connoisseur Tourer mk1 manual ***SOLD***

Sold waiting collection

For sale on eBay for £800, £600 to anyone on the forum. Selling because I have a new project MG ZTT to work with and want to pool some money into to get it looking and driving well.

CDTi 75 2.0 diesel
Came standard with:
Cruise control
Front Electric seats
Front heated seats
Climate control
Automatic rain sensing wipers
Full Neptune Blue leather interior
Walnut dash and steering wheel
Auto dimming mirror
Luggage cover which doubles up as a luggage or dog guard
Electric windows all round
Alarm and immobiliser

Mot due in October, used daily

Since I bought the car I’ve had the ECU recoded professionally to 160bhp from the usual 130bhp. Not a huge difference in power but the car drives so much nicer now.

Two oil services in the last year, air filter changed and fuel filter changed twice in the last year.
Front pipe replaced with decat pipe
Egr blank fitted
Intercooler hose replaced
Rear wiper motor freed off
Bonnet latches replaced
OSF suspension leg replaced
2 new tyres
Fuel tank straps replaced
Fuel pump replaced

Good bits are:
All tyres are good
Car pulls great now I’ve added the ecu upgrade, decat and egr blank (I still have the cat and egr valve)
Injector cleaner used as a concentrate in both filter changes and added to every tank of fuel.
Plenty of service history including 2 engine oil and filter changes in the last year.
Pcv filter replaced
Only two previous owners, plenty of history though not complete
Taxed until the end of September.
Scrap value is £300 if you decided to use this as a donor car (too good for this though!)

Bad bits:
Osr door has a rust spot (though this colour was popular so obtaining another complete door should be easy enough, and not difficult to fit)
Standard stereo
Slight judder when setting off without revs. I assumed this was a clutch judder, but after plenty of driving this hasn’t got any worse so could well be an engine mount.
Air conditioning not cold, there is a hole in a pipe where it’s rubbed through on a hose (common issue)
OSF heated seat doesn’t warm up (all other electrics ok). After testing wires the issue is inside the seat.
Some minor scuffs and a cracked front grille (I think the previous owner had to break it to release the bonnet)

More to follow including pictures of the interior tomorrow when I have some more time.

I’ll list it properly on here when I get some time, but for now here’s the (incomplete) eBay ad.
