If I was checking a potential purchase for a club member the first thing I’d check is the underneath. As you rightly point out a shiny body means absolutely nothing, seen it too many times on Facebook, I’m shocked at the condition of some supposedly well cared for cars. The old saying “all that glistens is not gold”
