A drawing I inherited was in colour and it is called "The Awakening of Galitea" a pre-Raphaelite and a nude. The artist was a Frenchman who changed his name as it meant 'pig fat'.

In the year 2000, after I posted it up on the internet doing research, I received a request from a Texan collector in the U.S. who wanted to buy it, but I refused. I inherited it from my Grandmother who had kept it hidden out of sight in the loft. The nudity she said was something one should never see. I never sold it.

Hopefully you will be able to find the artist and the story behind the drawings.
