Default Wife has uttered those awful words.........

............."Is it time to get rid of your car???"

After the exhaust back box fell off on our track few days ago (now replaced) brakes still sticking on the front, I thought I would investigate the knocking from the front, same side as sticky brake ..........couldnt believe it - another broken spring!!! Now this was replaced from new this time last year after I lost both front springs overnight periods sitting on the drive after cold snaps, with simplex brand springs.
So now I have to sort the spring out before looking at the brakes but......

....I cant get one of the wheel nuts undone

Have tried my impact driver, 3 foot breaker bar and presently have squirted loads of plusgas on it to try to loosen any rust in there. Any other suggestions on how to loosen this without hopefully snapping it????

I really dont want to get rid but these cars really do test our patience and love (and of course wallet)!!
