Articulated delivery e-bike.
These delivery e-bikes are getting bigger & more elaborate all the time & all above board & legal to use them in cycle lanes.

Its about time all cycling usage was overhauled. The cities now are far too dangerous for young children to ride in , as are the roads now becoming the same in rural areas. This new phase of electric bike propulsion is getting out of hand too. I understand there is a review upcoming to address these issues ,and not before time. I respect very much peoples rights to sensible cycling , and its fun and good when carried out sensibly. Hoards of young people, riding cycles and ebikes with blatant disregard for others both on the roads and off them. Age and licencing must now be a a consideration as well as proficiency. That contraption pictured above , without restraints on user credibility is just beyond belief...

And there's me thinking a Bicycle only had two wheels!
So are cyclists going to need a licence? essential liability insurance? (currently voluntary only) iy all needs a good shake up. Last edited by Dave47; 20th May 2024 at 10:14.. |
