If the door will not open from the inside or the outside it will not be the hook. look on Arctic's last picture and you can clearly see the white clip on the end of the threaded rod. This clip needs to be opened so it is free of the rod. the door should then open from the inside.

Ok, I finally managed to get my hand in all the way in so I felt the square plastic, the rod, and the metal-plate thingies. The way to do it was to sit on my knees inside the car, with the window up , then I got my hand in.

Tried pulling and pushing on those, up an down about 1cm, but just felt like hitting something metal, click-click. No spring feel when pushing.

Got my wife to pull outside handle, then I felt the rod gets pushed down.

I didn`t see this comment.
I was thinking I was afraid of something loosening while I was pushing and pulling, but I actually need to open the square plastic to get the door to open with my fingers ?
Or opening the plastic, and then pulling on the wire on the inside doorhandle ?

Look at Artics 5th picture, the bend in metalrod is hitting the plastic casing, is that the cause why I can`t get the square thing long enough down to open the mecanism/door ?

open the white plastic clip so it is no longer attached to the threaded rod, then pull on the inside door handle and the door should open.
