Welcome to a cool and damp Scotland Heavy showers forecast all day, still drying up (slowly) from yesterday's rain. New rainwater barrel tap still watertight so that job's officially ticked off the list.

I'm under orders to make puto again. Need to go out and get some stuff for it.

Shopping done for us and mum. Low flying jets here this am. Must be military as they are not on Flightradar!

Bl00dy fright I just got! A Crow(s) had managed to work out how to get the lid off the suet ball feeder despite the lid being secured by wire (they could reach in and steal the top two balls) so changed it for an older, more secure one. Crow obviously not happy it couldn't steal the suet balls any more and just hammered hard, I mean HARD, on the lounge window right next to me

Cool

Morning everyone from submerged Cornwall. Don’t know about the flaming June bit anymore.

Still feeling a bit groggy but carrying on with life. I’ve missed a few months this year already.

One week today I will be joining the other members of the CMGOC on our weekend away to another country. Got to go across England to get to Wales via British Aerospace visit on the Friday.

So preparing Banana for her trip.

The heavy showers arrived . . . . and how! Been torrential rain for close to an hour, real monsoon stuff. I'm waiting for a break so that I can go out.

Might be worth removing them and sending them off to a pro for inspection and a refurb. Any missing bits can be made good by welding and then blended out together with any pitting in the polishing process. They will be checked for balance and pitch, a different pitch might possibly be recommended if a change of environment and use of the boat warrants it.

As you will likely know, the correct prop in good condition can affect the performance of a boat and its engine. Link to repairer in Lincs: Click Another link for general info: Click

After about 90 minutes of absolutely torrential rain I managed to get out. At the height of it the path at the back door was like a river! Minor flooding all over the place, worst is just outside town, the flooding is right across the road, up over the pavements and onto the grass.

According to the forecast more very heavy showers to come all day. Least I got what I need to make the puto.

I am sorry to read about the bad weather, how disappointing for all of you.

Today it’s been hot and sunny.
As you know it’s high altitude and the heat can be exhausting.

We are flying to London on 29 June. I chose that date expecting it to be in time for summer and the long days of daylight.

Today we have had to move the washing line away from the back of the house, as the other side of the neighbours wall, builders are knocking down the neighbours house as they have have sold up and the new neighbours want a complete rebuild.

Just had a message flash up on my phone…….

Jeff is at Titchmarsh Marina!

Ah well . . . . least the rain will be warm!

Heavy rain off and on all day (heavy rain now) but, so far, hasn't reached the biblical proportions of this morning.

Puto factory is in production, first batch in after letting the batter rest for a while.
