Thanks to all for the advice being a plumbing and heating engineer for 47 years I get where your are coming from I’m going to drive home gently on Sunday and carry out the flush etc thanks for all your help guys really appreciate it love my 75 got to keep her in good shape

Hi a flush is unlikely to sort it check the heater gets hot in the car when car is running hot if not the impeller is loose on the water pump stopping the circulation
