Dear me it's sizzling here, I've got me t-shirt off & I'll end up getting sunburn as usual.
Already retreated to shade with an ice-cold apple juice.

Hi all.

I've been popping in and out over the last few weeks and, as usual there's all sorts going on .

Here's a pic of Quizzie on the banks of Loch Lubnaig north of Stirling on one of the two nice days that we were up there. Don't ask about the rest......

Take care all.

Been there many times, saw one of the funniest things I've seen in my life there. We were there with the poodle we used to have, Milka. Ging was paddling, she came back to the shore, carried Milka back out with her and plopped him into the water. He immediately swam to the shore beside me, shook himself then turned and gave Ging the dirtiest look, I was doubled over laughing. Poodles are supposed to be water dogs but it wasn't in Milka's job description

Well the latest is: we got a “we'll contact you when we’re sending your licence , and we can’t say anything about how long it will be .”
We told them it has been 6 weeks since we last asked, we got a phone number and Fiona rang but had to wait and I had to speak before they would talk to her.
So they told me they were waiting from my doctor to send back details to DVLA, but as they had had a letter from another dr ,who has confirmed that I’m allowed to start driving again, well I can, so I’ve looked up insurance for van, booked van for service and MOT next Thursday, so by the day is over I can get out and start driving the van. We still have to wait for doctor to reply to DVLA before they send my licence.
The only thing I’m waiting for now is to get a part of my left eye which had a cataract removed in January, was 2 years since the other eye was done but was meant to be done later the same year.
Now I have to have a part of a transplant with a certain part of the eye which will let me get a medical and start driving coaches again.
