![]() I have recently replaced a faulty xenon front headlight burner. Bought a pair from dmgrs ... reasonable quality. When coming to fit it into the light unit, i noticed that it can be fitted into the holder on the hella units in two positions. Either with the metal electrode position being at 12 oclock or 6 oclock. Strangely both positions lined up to hold the burner tightly and flush with the holder , and there was provision for the square cut-out on the burner to fit both at the top or bottom. In the end i opted for the electrode to be placed at the bottom. Seems ok , but i wondered if someone who has replaced these before ,actually knows the correct fitting position ...

![]() The earth that protrudes from top of bulb to the base, should be pointing at the 6 o'clock position.

![]() The quality of these Xenon Burners is very good. I brought a pair of burners (6000k ones) in January 2019 from DMGRS, they still look as good as the day I fitted them.
