Well, what can one say ... cough! I see that you have all of the mod cons there and that is a Thunderbox for sore eyes, but how on earth does one go on it?

Please, no pics.

There will always be photos as that is how it is. Getting in position is completed using the crouch method which is tough on the knees. The locals don’t use toilet paper. Instead they use a leaf called Kikuyu toilet paper or their hand, not sure which hand. We have many bushes of Kikuyu toilet paper growing……

Have a great day 😀

Simon & Louis are cuddle buddies this afternoon having a catnap. I heard on the radio that cat owners need to have their cats microchipped by law from now on, All our cats are done & registered at the vets.

Just made a mixed bean & potato vegetable saag aloo mild curry for tea tonight with some rice & some shop bought garlic parathas.

Good morning Ian and thank you for lovely photos of the curry and Simon and Louis looking peaceful and at ease with each other.

I am well thank you and this morning seeing the Urologist for a Prostate check up, nothing exciting.

What are you up to?

Good morning Steve, thank you for the weather and gardening report. Your hands went numb doing the watering, that’s something - numb hands unusual, do you have poor circulation in the hands or nerve damage?

Morning Phil and anybody else daft enough to be up this early. Ging has left for work, I'll be heading back to bed for a couple of hours.

Nothing to do with that Phil, its so bleedin' cold, nearly mid June and the temperature is struggling to get into double figures due to a strong cold wind coming straight down from the north! Current temp is only six degrees

Morning all, It's a grey day & still with that cold NNW wind here too, which is keeping the temps down, A paltry high of 13C later today.
The digital thermometers in the greenhouses record the high & low temps in a 24hr period & the overnight temps in the greenhouses have been in single figures on a few occasions over the last week or so.
Not good for the heat loving plants in there

I'm on laundry duty today as the laundry basket is full to overflowing. Noreen is feeling better & getting about on her own now, That stairlift has been a boon for getting up & down the stairs. She managed to go to the docs for her booster jab at the clinic in the car yesterday.

Just had the Edinburgh Taxi Driver's Parade go past, dress the cabs up with balloons etc and take disabled etc kids from Edinburgh along the coast. Feel sorry for the kids though, its not June weather, bleedin' cold.
