I have to be honest, I have always liked the Mondeo, especially the ST220.

Of course the ford is going to trounce the rover! I love it when people think their oil burner is a rocket ship, even with 'mods'.

No need to be sorry the Mondeo is a fine car, perhaps even a great car, let down by rubbish dealers, Ford have some of the best engineers working for them, and can do anything the Germans or Japs can anytime, the Mondeo is better than the 3 series, the A4 or anything else just because the magazines won't admit it does.nt mean is not true, if you are a good driver and know how to get the best from the car you will be amazed just how good it really is, in titanium x it is fantastic value, good man, dynamically very few cars in the same price bracket come near it.

Mondeo is a fantastic car, unfair to compare a 1.8 n/a 75 with a turbo diesel tho

Having driven both 75/Mondeo tdi auto they are pretty similar both excellent cars

The 75 is a 15yr old car, course the Mondeo is better.
The boss had a Titanium estate and that was a really nice motor. Compared to the Insignia he's got now the Mondeo was in a different league.
