Default Failed MOT Brake Pipes

My Wife's car has just failed its MOT due to excessive corrosion on the brake pipes.
Could anyone recommend anyone in the Aldershot area to do this job?
We need to get it sorted ASAP.
I have messaged someone on the forum but don't know if he does this.
I don't mind travelling or getting my hands dirty but don't have the kit to do it myself.
Thanks
Brian

To coin a phrase, they all do that.
The original hydraulic lines are not up to the job corrosion-wise. Have them replaced with Kunifer (cheap enough on eBay).

I replaced mine in copper..

This is now becoming a common failure of the MOT on these cars. The pipes corrode in the plastic clips due to retained moisture.

There are existing joints below the bulkhead, simply tap into these, and if sound make further joints high up next to the fuel tank.

Most competent garages will be able to carry out the job, budget on around £100.00

I am afraid that these will need replacing for the full length as there is some corrosion where the pipes exit above the tank as well.
At £100 I would snatch their hand off, if I could find them.

cheers Brian

Yes, thanks, I intend getting them replaced with Kunifer - job done then.
May well have to get the ones on mine done as well soon.

Thanks for that.
I just tried calling them but they are shut now, will try again in the morning.
They would be very convenient if the price is ok as they are within half a mile of where I live.
Got to do the wishbone bushes as well. I replaced the ones on mine with the power flex ones and they have been fine but not yet decided what to do with this one.

Best of luck - I'd go with copper or kunifer as above. My ZT-T appears to have kunifer pipes from the front to back, and they look great even though the receipt was 3 years ago.

As for the wishbone bushes, I've sourced some decent items at a fairly reasonable price:

They seem very well made - I also have them fitted to my ZT-T and they've helped stop the 'tramlining' I suffered with.
