Xtrons Android maps and music

Xtrons Android double din unit. New about four years ago. Couple of questions:

iGo NextGen navigation how to update the maps? 2016 loaded on the unit at present I have 2021 on a microSD card but can’t see how to transfer them from that to the unit.

MP3 music/speech files on a microSD card. All organised neatly in a two or three folder hierarchy according to preference. This works as I wish on a Kenwood d/d or a Bluetooth player. Unfortunately this unit ignores the folder within a folder structure and just presents a very long list of bottom level folders in no particular order.

Is there a work around for either or both of these issues?
