There is bugs on me bumper
Anyone got a good solution to get rid of half cooked flying and crawling vamicular lifeforms off the front of my car, windscreen and mirror covers? I was examining them earlier and boy oh boy ive wiped out at least 18 different species of insect. Ive heard good ol wd40 does the trick but surely this will not do the paint any good?

AutoGlym tar remover does work too (as I suppose would any brand of tar-removing stuff). Wash car and dry, treat bugs with tar remover then wipe area clean. Apply wax/polish/topcoat as necessary.

wash your car more often and put a few coats of of polish on it they come off at the next wash...........
(Mind you all the neighbours think I've lost it due to how often my car gets washed/polished)

have to agree WW there is nothing like a regular clean to keep on top of things including bugs, you need educating in the ways of the club and should also buy your first pair of Rover Slippers !

Trebor you forgot to mention.. the slippers must have zips up the front. also there will be a certain Mr Bitsy at the yorks meet, a car cleaning expert, so may I suggest WW that you have a chat with him with regard to cleaning your car properly.

Bug remover spray - the correct product for the problem. It doesn't remove polish/wax like tar remover will etc.
If that doesn't work, a tin of elbow grease works wonders too!

I also use to great effect FENWICKS Caravan Cleaner, really good stuff but a bit on the pricey side.
