Up the road from me is Summit Garage (MG). They often have a couple of guys come in and re-trim cars in leather. Must help the sale, otherwise they would not do it and I suppose we will all pay for that bit of individuality.

The only thing that will happen with the price of this car though, is it will drop like a stone, as soon as it touches the road.........

Give it 18 months and they will be a reasonable 2nd hand buy (but not for me)

Does anyone know what disc brake wiping is?
It is mentioned on the MG3 specification sheet.

No it's an actual feature. The brakes automatically apply themselves very gently to remove any water from the surface of the disc to aid braking.

When I spoke to the MG Guys at Silverstone ,

The quoted top Spec was £9999, plus + extra leather interior ? @ around 650 quids..

So £9999 isn't actually the top spec , even thought they kept on about it
even after I pointed that out .
I suppose the leather is classed as extras along with all the other bits and bobs they offer .

Chris

You can spec your own up at the MG page, Mine ended up at just over 11 grand

Leather is an option, coloured wheels are options as is certain paints and graphics. Spare wheel is also extra, however the top spec comes with cruise control, parking sensors, auto lights and mirrors. Disc wiping is a feature as is hill hold. Even has a neat little guide me home light function like the 75/zt

The MG3 I was shown at Carfest was £10,499 which included half Leather Seats, roof graphics and 16" alloys.
Not too impressed by it having drums for rear brakes. Then again we are talking the budget end of the market?
