Anyone got a Samsung 3D TV?
Specifically a Samsung UE40ES6300
Gets good reviews on Which? and folks seem to mainly like it Amazon. On there it's £637 all in, but just found it here on eBay Crampton and Moore, Sheffield for £599 inc delivery (which is odd, as their own site has it for £699 (see here) although that does include a wall mount Seems a genuine shop, good eBay feedback, but would like to know a little more about the TV if anyone has one!

Samsung are high spec models, they are one of the few TV manufacturers who produce their own panels now. I have no info on the seller.
This model is sold at Currys so pop in and try then buy elsewhere or haggle, yes at Currys you can haggle a deal http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung...48397-pdt.html

I've got a UE37D6750, was a special model which was only sold in a few outlets, as it was basically a UE37D6500 but with micro-dimming. The picture is about as good as I've seen on any LCD, but as with all thin TVs the sound is woeful.
Still haven't seen any picture to beat the Pioneer Kuros... |

We bought our current Samsung Plasma from them (Crampton and Moore, Sheffield) a few years ago, no problems and it was a really good price - around £100 less than any where else.

On the subject of big Samsung flatscreens, ours has both the analogue and built in digital tuner. What I have always found to be annoying is if I press 1 for BBC 1, if we are watching any channel number but 1, we get digital channel 1 - fine so far!
However if we are on digital channel 1 and press 1, it then changes to analogue channel 1. Same with all of the channels - tap in the same channel number as you are watching and it swaps from the digi channel to the analogue or v v. Of course now we have no analogue, it is all rather pointless. Is there a way on these sets to simply disable the analogue?

IIRC in the set up it asks you to search for analogue and digital stations. It may be worth doing it again and only searching for digital. It may solve it for you.

All sounds positive for Samsung, and also Crampton and Moore!
Hadn't thought of haggling at Currys! Bet I wouldn't get £50 off mind......
