Aerial adaptor needed
Hi
After a few months struggling to get an MP3 head unit working as a replacement to the standard tape player, finally settled on a Pioneer unit (DEH-P7900UB) Only problem is that the radio doesn't work as the connector is "a bit weird" (I don't mind sticking to MP3's but Gill likes the radio!) This is what the back of the unit looks like The aerial lead is the long black tube (around two and half inches) on the left of the unit as pictured Can anyone advise as to what I need to adapt? Cheers |

You need a DIN to ISO aerial adapter, Halfords have it @ £3.99 but usually cheaper from an ICE shop.

Something like this from Maplins?
There was one of these in the pack that went back (for the Blaupunkt stereo I rejected) which I kept, but can't get it to fit! The long bit went into the black sleeve on the Pioneer OK, but the other end, to the Rover loom, didn't work as the middle bit was male on both the plug and connector.... I'm confused now! |
