Default Black Pudding - The Poll

On reading these two threads
Foodstuffs - What do you like
Foodstuffs What can't you eat

it appears as a club we are divided about the merits of Black Pudding.

Personally I love it but whats the verdict?

Regardless of the threads, I love blackpudding. Even better when on a roll (bap) as a double decker with egg!!!!!

Love Black pudding with a fried egg, vegetable roll and white pudding.
Throw on some liver, onions, bacon and a sausage and another load of black pudding.

Yum. Hungry now.

i would like it to be a matter of record that i never said i didn't like black pudding .
However there is black pudding and black pudding .
I was in dundee last week and the black pudding [WHICH I LOVE BTW] in the hotel was tasteless , good BP needs loads of spice to bring out the flavour .
I dont like the link style BP that you get in england as it has big bits of rind in it .

My wee brother was addicted to BP as a kid then one day he asked me what was in it and after i told him he never ate it again

Well here in Wales there are many versions of Black pudding. The best comes from independent butcher, not the tasteless generic supermarket rubbish

BP and lava bread , 2 x large fried eggs (sunny side up) on fried bread with bacon and field mushrooms.....

Heavenly start to the day

I don't care what is in it, the taste does it for me.... Then again, there are sausages, eat them and enjoy,..... If it tastes good .... who cares what's in them
