Default Toaf

I've been using Toaf successfully for the past few years. Following a few months of inactivity, I plugged it in the other day, and it seemed to malfunction, stating that I was using the wrong user name or password. I've tried changing everything, but I seem to be locked out. I now have three user names, all apparently with wrong, non updateable passwords.
Is there any way of completely resetting this incredibly useful program, and starting from scratch? I have tried contacting the Polish owner, but to no avail.

Many thanks.

Bit confused, I've used Toaf since its introduction and have never had a user name or password, or are you talking about the Android mobile version?

Regards

Yes, the Android version. It insists on logging users in just in case they mess up the ecu(s). They save your changes online, and logging in allows them to reverse these actions. I thought the Windows version was the same.

OK, Windows is not the same, thank God (hope that Hogweed doesn't read that as an endorsement of Windows )

I read something about Toaf servers going down and everything getting lost, it was on their Facebook group. Here it is:

The TOAF mobile server is working again!
Unfortunately, the data in the database is from March 2023.
All users created after March 2023 are gone, as is their data.
If you don't have an account, create it again.
If you had the full version of Toaf Mobile - and after creating a new account it was not activated - send me a PM with your order number - or just buy it again only at a promotional price - EUR 0.19

Good luck

Thanks, Vitesse, but I've tried everything you suggested. I now have three accounts, with their own passwords, none of which are working. Each time I created a new account Toaf stated "error creating account". I've tried downloading the full version and paid 19c twice, but to no avail. Can I cancel all the accounts and start again from scratch? It's so frustrating, because I love this app.

Sorry I don't use the same version so I'm guessing ... but starting from scratch, and deleting all old information seems to be your only alternative, apart of course for contacting them.

Good luck

Problem solved! I removed the accounts and passwords from Google's password manager, and reinstalled the app. It seems to remember my original password, and keeps it in its own database. Many thanks for your help.
