Default Galaxy note 2 welcome screen

Hi, can anybody tell me if it is possible to remove the mobile network welcome page when you turn the phone on.I have just purchased a secondhand note 2 that was supposed to be unlocked to all provided when in fact it was previously a 3 network phone that had been unlocked.I just really want to get the Samsung greeting page instead of 3.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards, Alan

Where there android there's hope. I want to do this on my note 3 but I believe you need to have root access. Samsung also store the file in a different location than most other droid phones. If you're not comfortable rooting it is probably not worth doing it. Have a search on Google, see what comes up.
