I am hoping to have my 02 cdt manual gearbox oil changed next week, I have read that Texaco oil is the best, is this right?, also, how much oil will I need?. Thanks, John.

You will have to buy 2 litres.....
1.7l is what u probably need...

Thanks Albert, I will get it on Monday, MCD, I haven't actually asked the chap who is doing some jobs for me if he will change the oil as well, anyway, I will let you know when I get it done. Thanks, John.

Get mine from our local Landy Independent - take an empty oil can down and he fills it from the big drum.

I have spoken to Jules and he will change the oil for me when he fits the thermo. He also stocks the oil. I will post up when I have had the jobs done. Thanks, John.
