Hi All, On my TMC d/d I am having great trouble getting a signal to the tv, I have a MPEG4 box and two powered aerials, one front one back. I get a screen saying "for your safe don't watch while moving" and can't get past this, any advice please?. John.

That is the interlock, which prevents you watching while ever the handbrake is off. You either need to connect the wire to the handbrake, or configure it to ignore the handbrake connection. It is somewhere in the DD's settings. It is nothing to do with your antennas or TV reception.

Sorry I can't be more help, it is a long time since I installed my DD.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

JOhn

You can by-pass it by connecting the ground to Handbrake

Thanks fellas, Bigruss got the tv working without connecting the handbrake wire so as Harry says it must be in the settings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. John.

Mark, That's just what I needed, I have a picture of sorts again, very blocky but working. How do I go about saving the tv channels in order i.e. BBBC=1, BBc2=2, ITV1 =3 etc. Many thanks for your great video. John.

TBH, I can't help on the TV side as I don't have the same unit as you..

Have a read of the instructions that came with it, but it's probably something like Menu, then Channel Line Up...
