Hans' gauge again
I've finally got round to mounting Hans' gauge. I put it at the top of the Harmony radio. It's high up and easily visible but the top overhanging trim shades it rather nicely.
By putting the front mounting completely on the front face (not inserting it into the radio front face) I was able to cut a smaller hole in the face just the size of the digital readout. This made it much easier to mount the green board using some spacers on the threaded bolts. The circuit board is mounted on the top of the radio box using two self-tapping screws and two of the supplied spacers. John Wright |

That's a really neat install, John.. Personally, I wouldn't have liked the idea of inserting it into the drivers side cup holder..

Very nice, I installed mine in the cup holder and I'm very pleased.
