IR for Steering controls

Hi
Sorry I dont know if this is technically ICE, has anyone re-located the IR sensor from the "Eyelid" above the radio? I fitted a sat nav there and it blocks the sensor

It needs to be slightly proud of the stereo face to work, no reason why it can't be moved, but you may have to fiddle around to get it in line correctly
