Default Two Questions?

Hi Guys,

I have power fold mirrors and when I go over 30 MPH with the window(s) down it sounds as if I have a couple of whistling Canaries in the car (No jokes please about taking the family cat as a front seat passenger).

Secondly, Why is it when I have my temperature settings on cold, why does the in car re-cycled air function automatically kick In? On a warm/hot day if I forget to turn it off the car naturally heats up.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards

Steve

The mirror covers have plastic clips inside which when broken will cause the mirrors to whistle when at speed. It usually occurs if someone has taken them off and broken them in the process. Really you need to replace the covers with un damaged ones.

As I understand it, the A/C usually looks at the outside air temperature and if it is very high when you first start up the car with the air con on, it will switch to cabin recycled air in preference, as it thinks it will be cooler to start with.
