Default MOT question?

Hiya all been a bit of a mad rush getting the probe ready for its MOT.

When I bought the car the rear seats were removed from it as the previous had put subs in the back, which have now been removed fine beeping Christ.

The rear seat belts have been removed as well, can I still go for an MOT and say the car has been converted too 2 seater sports coupe or would it be a instant due too not having them in the car, otherwise passenger and driver safety is all spot on.

Jobs done today.

Fix wiring loom.
Remove stupid plastic trim that keeps coming off.
Reattach front bumper.
Throttle body replacement.
Other final check all round, if it fails then I work off the list off jobs that need attention.
Need too put the bonnet back on as much as I like the bonnet off lots pure induction noise.

This thing better pass or I'll flip.

You should be fine but it could depend on the tester. It will however be recorded on the MOT the number of seats in the car, so if it is different to what your insurance company believe you ought to inform them too, and then in theory get the car re MOT'd after refitting the back seats!

That's a very good point I think Nigel who I bought did inform the insurance it was a two seater sports coupe rather then 4, those rear would never get used too damn cramped.

Even snow's whites 7 dwarfs would have trouble getting in.
