Default It's One Of Lifes Greatest Mysteries......

..........and it no doubt baffles the world brightest scientists.

Why the heck do wires and cables have a habit of tangling themselves up, despite the fact you tried to make absolutely sure that it could not happen, and haven't touched them for ages?

I think you will find it's only the LIVE wires get tangled.

Just look behind the average TV, CD player etc set up.

Horrendous.---

A simple ball of string can cause you many hours of fun if when you first put it away you just drop it into a drawer.-------THE NEXT DAY-

There are many great mysteries in life, such as:

If it's possible to send a probe on a ten year journey to a comet and have it arrive only a few seconds off schedule, why can't someone design a spout that doesn't drip?

If it's possible to build nanobots that can precisely deliver a medicinal load within a living body, why can't someone make perforated card that tears along the actual perforation?

Why can't women walk in a straight line?

Ever tried to unravel a set of in-ear headphones after only one minute in your pocket?

Yes and most of the time I end up breaking them.
