What he needs is a ZCS code....... and a T4.... fifth digit of the SA string needs to be an eight

Just had a look at your profile, if this is being fitted to a V6 then the only reason you would need to change the ZCS coding is if the cruise control needs to be checked using T4, the V6 should work out of the box

Nope, if he's fitted it right then it will work, he won't be able to diagnose it with T4 though

Bet you wished I still worked in Perivale though, I would have had it sorted in a jiffy

Superfast Brian to the rescue
If your garage is unable to do this, then feel free to drop me a line, and I will try and sort you out

Yes a shame you don't still work in Perivale lol. Where did you work? I was at Tesco (Hovver Building).

Phillips Presentation Products on Walmgate Road, and Tesco was still Hoover then.......one of the nicest Art Deco Buildings ever

At least Tesco made a nice job of restoring the facade when they built the supermarket

Was Mac putting planes on the roof of the Vanguard building further along the road when you were there Brian, or did that start later?

We used to use Vanguards for all our heavy lifting and it was always good fun to see his latest offering - he even had Dr Who's Tardis up there once.

Saw my mechanic about my cruise control issue ( all parts fitted press button green light comes on and not a sausage ) He is says that when he puts the T4 to my car there is no cruise control icon coming up on his screen for him to activate the cruise control. Is this the point that I need ZCS codes?
