Default Adding user POI's Primo 1.2

This covers just the standard POI's - NOT the speed camera databases which are installed slightly differently...

Download your POI file, from where ever - http://www.poiplaza.com/ has a large selection, just click the Download (top right corner), then select Download by Country, click on Europe on the map, then find GB at the bottom of the list. Click on which ever of the POI databases you might be interested in, then click on Download at the upper left.

A page now displays the icons for the various satnav systems, one of which is the kml files for IGO 8, click that one.

The files are a zip, which contains installation instructions (txt) and the actual file you are interested in, the kml.

Create a new folder on your SD card called 'POI' as follows -
SD CARD\IgoPrimo\content\userdata\POI - note that your IgoPromo folder might be using a different name to mine.

Copy the kml file (or files) only into your new POI folder. Now put the card back in your DD, reboot it. The new POI will be converted by Primo 1.2 as it boots up and Find should see the new POI database(s) in the list.

The speed camera database works similarly except they need to be put in a different folder. The txt file included with each one explains where they need to be put.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
