Question from a non V8 owner
This question is not important. It is just something i have always wondered.
On the dash.....where your V8 badge is......we have a Hot/Cold dial for the vents. Why did they not keep the dial on yours ? |

The answer is they had to redesign the heating and ventilation system in order to move the engine bulkhead to accommodate the V8, and use a smaller A/C system
So do you have the same sort of wheel in a different place ? Or do you not have the fresh air from outside option ? |

The Rover 75 V8 does indeed have the same wheel, front fresh air option and rear fresh air vents
Aircon still not the best, struggles above 30 degrees! |

You cannot quite see it on the photo above due to the light reflection, but on the R75 V8 near the auto gearstick gaiter 'V8' is written, so we don't completely miss out!
