The head unit, or bordmonitor, is simply a display device with a cassette deck. To get the sat Nav functioning you will also need all of the following components plus the wiring loom

It can be retro fitted, but it's quite involved.

Why not consider one of the double din units that are available, these tend to be plug and play. Some have flip out screens or you could look at the Chinese units that Radioguy supplies. They are designed to fit the Rowe750 and MG7 versions of our car out there, so they look OEM.

the satnav isnt fantastic to be honest. Of course it does work, and does what it was intended to do but you would be far better off with a tomtom or similar.

In order to get any sort of display on the unit, you would need the TV unit. The radio unit contains the amplifier to feed the speakers. To use the Satnav you would need the Satnav/CD unit.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
