HI Rob & Derek.
I arrived at the FA about 16.30 pm along with Mark who kindly keeps and brings the work/T4 tent for us each and every meet.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Mark's neighbour who and just been speaking to the chap serving behind the bar, not the gaffer but his brother whom is called Charlie, he was told that someone had arrived with a caravan but Charlie did not know about camping Friday, so if the person wanted to wait they could talk to Sam whom is the gaffer.

It turned out the caravan owner drove off instead, that would have been you Derek I presume.

I said in a previous post above that I would be there about 16.30pm, anyways I made my way up to the pub to talk to Sam he was unavailable in a meeting upstairs.

Charlie told me the story above and he could not grant entrance to the field with out the gaffers say so, it was then I explained that usually a couple or three set up camp on a Friday evening so they could be look out after the tents etc.

He did not know this, anyways as I was informing him of how many there would be for breakfast Saturday, Sam the gaffer appeared I explained to him about the camping, he says he was not aware of this but yes indeed he would open the gate and it would be ok.

By this time Derek you had gone and I doubt it was worth me letting you know by then, as it turns out you would have been the only one camping tonight.

At least he knows now for the next time, breakfast will start at 10.00am it would be good also if anyone with a rake could bring it or a shovel as there are quite few mole hills which will need raking flat if anyone is willing to help, see you tomorrow about 08.45am to 09.00am
