More negative BBC news
I have just seen the news tonight and I thought it odd that the BBC were saying how India is starting the biggest vaccine program in the world today and they are planning on vaccinating 300,000 people a day, they apparently only managed to do two thirds of that. Then there was an article on the UK's vaccination program, they have managed to do 366,000 today.
Why is our BBC news bigging up India when we are doing more and have less vaccination centres? I am sure many will disagree but apart from some wrong turns I think our government are doing the best job that can be expected considering nobody knows what the next curveball this virus is going to throw. Yesterday the news announced our economy shrunk by 2% in November, I am amazed it is not more considering what is going on or more precisely what is not happening. Our BBC need to start looking at the positives and not always trying to find the negatives. |

I'm sure the new chairman will soon sort them out and will start getting behind Boris.

I was just wondering whether the BBC item was comparing the UK performance with India's or whether it was a piece on how other countries are handling the vaccinations. If it was the former then it's a bit like comparing apples and Lambhorgini's, if it was the latter then that's general global interest which has no connection with the UK performance, which will be covered in domestic news.

The first thing the BBC needs to do is ditch the left wing bias, and get on with what they are supposed to be doing, namely, broadcasting without political preference.
What they are doing at the moment is palpable, it's so blatant. Wise up Auntie. |

Personally I'd rather have a broadcaster that isn't sycophantic to any government be it left or right of centre. I mean what's the use of just parroting propaganda.

If it's the latter then the BBC can hardly be accused of bigging up India by saying it's starting the biggest vaccine program in the world.
