Default head unit wont see the cd changer

hi all

on my way back from london yesterday , the cd changer decided to part company with the head unit. it started switching to the tuner. click mode a few times and it would go back to the changer for a little while then jump back to tuner .

now it only shows tuner and cassette . the changer will eject and all the cds are in . had a fiddle in the dark last night in the boot with the wires but to no avail !!

could it be that a lead has unplugged itself out of the head unit ?

many thanks for any help in advance

regards mark

Sounds to me like an intermittent fault with the connection to the Kbus. I would check that all connections to and from the CD changer are good and tight as a first step.

The wire colour for the K Bus is White with Red and yellow tracer. WRY

You may have to check both the changer and radio connections..
