Default Walnut handbrake handles on ebay

Hi,
Just got a walnut freelander handbrake handle from ebay all i had to do was put it in microwave for 15 seconds so that i could pull out inner sleeve & cut a new groove for gaiter to fit in, it then fitted without drilling out. Item no 370274456120 £9.99 inc delivery they have more in stock.

Cheers Mel:lol:

Why would you want to revarnish it?

I've worked it out!
See here
http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=47305

He wanted to strip the varnish and change the colour.

What I want to know is the length of the walnut handle.

Too late, all gone

Hi,
It is longer but when you take the sleeve out it makes it right length but you have to put a groove in it for gaiter to fit into.I done this with a dremmel was very easy.

you need to remove the existing hanbrake cover with the handrake gaiter and turn the gaiter inside out this will expose where the gaiter is fixed to the hanbrake handle, and refit of your new one is the opposite
