Default Are 2004 CDTis OBD compliant?

Anyone know if the diesels from 2004 onwards are definitely OBD (or is it EOBD) compliant?

AFAIK all diesels made since 2004 are meant to be, but was this ever confirmed with our cars?

I think Ron said something about "if you have the second temp sensor" in the position near the EGR.....?
or was that for some other thing?

In theory all 2004my should be.

Ti Rich's 2003 ZT was and his did have the second IAT in the intake duct, hence I speculated that all that had this, were 2004my engines with OBD compliant ecu firmware. But don't hold me to it!

Its in the air intake hose a few inches from the egr valve inlet on the manifold.

The only sensor on my inlet hose is the turbo boost temp sensor:

That's the one.

Its only fitted to 2004 and later vehicles (Euro 4 emissions standard I suppose), hence yours should be OBD2 compliant.

Earlier ones (to Euro 3?) just have the IAT that is built into the maf sensor which fails to take into account the heating effect of the turbo and cooling efficiency of the intercooler so the ecu can't accurately calculate the actual mass of air entering the inlet manifold!

Just for the record mine was a Jan 2004 build, not 2003.
