First thing to do is make sure the bolt is a Very tight fit in the Hub carrier.

It got through the MOT today, but with an advisory that there is still some play. They think it is in the joint, rather than joint to hub/upright, but didn't seem 100% sure despite two testers looking at it. I will keep a close eye on it (needs new front pads soon anyway), but I'm a bit concerned that the hub will need changing at some point.
