Default Rear pad dimensions?

Hi guys.

I'm suffering with rattly pad syndrome on the back of my ZT-T. Could any one point me in the direction for the dimensions of the hammer head end of the pads please if possible?

Thanks.

Ben

Thanks French Mike! I'll see what these ones measure compared with this.

Hopefully found the cause of the rattley pad syndrome.

Outer pads are clearly missing the little step on the bottom of the hammer head ends shown in the diagram, unlike the inner pads. Going to check them with another set of Ferrodo pads.

Thanks to Mike for finding the diagram for me!

Try a set of OEM pads....bit more expensive, but better then having to keep trying branded sets..

Thanks for the pointers David. As usual I did it all back to front. Took the Ferrodo pads back, and managed to get a refund, which was a result, considering I bought them nearly a year ago. ( only fitted recently ).

Reserved some at Halfords, got on me bike , exactly the same as the Ferrodo pads.

Eventually got some TRW branded ones, ( a match to the diagram above ), and will let you know.

So as far as I'm concerned anyway, Ferrodo rear pads, and Halfords rear pads don't fit.

Definately worth sticking with OEM for the rear pads IMHO. After a lot of messing around, & 3 sets of pads later, I found a set that fitted, outer and inner pads being identical, unlike the Ferrodo and Halfords pads. The outer pads clearly smaller at the hammer head ends due to them being flat.

Obviously not patterned up correctly. Beware.

Just bought some rear EBC discs and pads for my Dad's ZT-T, and wish I'd read my own advice above.

Discs look fine , but again the pads don't seem correct. I was certain I'd read members being happy with EBC pads.

How can the inner pads be different to the outer pads when they are sitting in the same caliper? Again the hammer head ends are flat on the outer pads, so will be loose.
