Reconditioning a power steering pump
Has anyone reconditioned a power steering pump or had someone do it for them? Where did you get the parts or who did it for you?
My main interest is a pump for a late face lift diesel. Rimmers have exchange units for cars up to 2004, mine is 2005. The part number is QVB000330 for late cars and QVB101391 for earlier cars. macafee2 |

I have one I got from a member a few years ago but will not know how good it is until it is fitted and currently do not need to fit it. As a precaution I want to investigate getting a pump reconditioned or doing it myself. macafee2 |

No reflection on the company, just a story from the past. I'm sure they've learnt a thing or two since then.
