PCV valve on BMW Diesel
Hi, What are the merits in replacing the existing (blue filtered)
PCV valve with an updated (filterless version) on our BMW Diesel engined 75? Thanking you in advance, Rosebud (Old Lady). Lets try and take more care of each other. |

changing for the so called fit and forget is supposed to better as their is no filter to clog up.only one slight problem it is not fit and forget it is a 40000 mile service item.and at nearly fifty pounds you are better of changing the filtered cotton reel version at third of the price

just checked on jules' site. the filtered housing needs changing at 90,000 mls.
if the fit and forget is filterless then i would imagine it is just that "a fit and forget item" but i would first check with bmw on the matter. |
